Coltello d´amore (Love Knife), 19th Century. With this piece I was awarded the Albacete Bladesmithing Competition in the “Museum Replica” modality. Total length 115 mm, made in carbon steel, bull horn, horse bone and brass inlays with 950 silver decorative nailing.

 

Roman Fulham-type Gladius, 1st Century A.D. Blade length 57 cm, 1.3 kg in weight, made of carbon steel, Iberian Peninsula walnut wood, deer antler, brass fittings and the use of chiselling and repoussage techniques.

Carbon steel Spanish punal dagger, 17th-18th Century. Total length 350 mm with a 210-mm long and 38-mm wide blade. Brass inlays on both sides, handcrafted with chisel. Acid etched brass inlays and ricasso.

 

Carbon steel Spanish knife, 17th-18th Century. Total length 390 mm with a 250-mm and a 40-mm wide blade. Brass inlays on both sides, handcrafted with chisel. Acid etched brass inlays and ricasso.

Carbon steel Spanish “puntilla” or “Misericordia” dagger, 17th-18th Century.  Total length 240 mm and blade length 140 mm. Iberian Peninsula walnut wood handle, engraved with brass inlays. Filed and acid engraved brass ricasso.

 

Carbon steel punal dagger, 19th Century.  Total length 325 mm and blade length 210 mm. Steel guards with two acorns made with file and chisel. Brass, and Iberian Peninsula walnut wood handle, with horse bone and copper and brass inlays. Butt with a rosette.
