Sus propiedades pueden considerarse intermedias entre lo blando y d\u00factil de la Ferrita y lo fr\u00e1gil y duro de la cementita.<\/p>\n

Su composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica es constante y definida y contiene aproximadamente seis partes de hierro y una de carbono.<\/p>\n

Aparece en general en el enfriamiento lento de la austenita. Seg\u00fan la velocidad de enfriamiento las l\u00e1minas aparecen m\u00e1s o menos juntas. La Perlita Fina aparece tras el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico de Normalizado y la Perlita Gruesa que aparece tras el Recocido.<\/p>\n
